Lush Bath Bomb: Lord Of Misrule

Summer is here everyone!

With that comes the sticky warm weather. Not that I should be complaining about it, where I live in Canada, it was an AWFUL winter!

Whenever it is really hot outside, I sometimes like to take a bath...you just feel so refreshed afterwards...everything also seems so much cooler when you get out.

I have a ton of Lush bath bombs stored away. I recently went through a move of apartments, so I didn't have a ton of time to sit back, relax and take a bath. Since it is Victoria Day Long Weekend, I took advantage of the extra day off.

Lord of Misrule was in the Halloween collection that Lush put out in 2014. There are expiry dates to these things...I better start using all of mine up.

This bath bomb turned my bath water into a nice mix of green and deep pink colour, with a slight shimmer to it as well.

Here is what the website had to say about it:

"Inspired by the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule brings mischievous revelry to the tub with a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. As it slowly froths in the water, hypnotic swirling silver luster is released and the deep green exterior soon gives way to a rich, wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine begins flowing, the revelry really begins! Popping candies fizz and crackle, creating a world of magic and mischief right before your eyes".

Here's to hoping they bring this bath bomb back for fall this year, I definitely enjoyed this one! If you aren't in the mood for something floral, or super girly - this bath bomb scent is the one for you!
Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Victoria Day Long Weekend! Back to work for me tomorrow!

cheers, amy xoxo
